My Father has been fighting cancer these last few months.

After a recent very strong dose of chemo/radiation he was admitted to the hospital.

The good news is that after 3 weeks and 4 days he went home today.

The bad news is that he went home to a hospice bed.

The cancer not only didn't respond to treatment it has spread to other organs and he has decided at this point to try to enjoy his time left to him without struggling with chemo/radiation.

He wanted me to thank all of you for your kind words, both regarding his progress to date and to all the fine folks he met at the SWMO meetings.

Hi Todd,
I got to see your Dad before he left the hospital today. Thanks for the privilege to minister to him in a small way. My prayers are with him and the family.

Todd,
I'm very sorry that your father and family have to travel this road. You have the prayers of my family. If there is anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask. I can be there in minutes.

Todd

My heartfelt prayers coming to you and your family. I do know what you are going through for I went through it with my Dad 3 years ago.

Todd, sorry to hear about your father. I know what it's like to watch and wait for your father to die knowing that there isn't anything that can stop it. My heart and prayers go out to you.

Lifting you and your family in prayer here. Give your father all the time you can. Talk with him and let him talk. I remember the last time with my dad and all of the talk that we had together. Great memories of personal conversations will stay with you.

I'm sorry to hear this. I know your pain.
Went through this 12 years ago with my wife and breast cancer.
My prayers are with you and your family.

May He grant you strength.

Just lost my uncle, his hospice days were pleasant, made peace with all his family (13 children).

I am sending peace and calm to you and your family. I am glad that hospice is available to you at this time. It will make a difference for all of you. I hope that you father has a bountiful supply of good days and that he is restful and pain free with the help of hospice. This can be a wonderful journey for you and your family. I would suggest that you take videos of him telling stories of his life. You will cherish them always and always have him with you.

I am sorry to hear this as I went thru the same with my father in law serveral years ago. Just being with him and talking made things alot easier when time drew near that we learned so much more from each other just being there. My prayers go to you and your family.

Sometime the most difficult journeys we make 'put the finish' on our best memories.

My thoughts and prayers are with your dad and all your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I wish for you the strength, wisdom and courage for the days that come.
