Hi again everybody!

One of the contests we want to run for the Birthday Bash in January is a contest for the Best Article submitted to the IAP. We will consider as contestants only the articles submitted and displayed on the site withing the last three months of 2007. Yes, that means there is still time to submit your article and be entered in this contest!

We will do our best to help you with editing and converting the article to PDF for posting on the site. Pictures are always good. Good pictures are even better!

If you have been thinking of writing an article, this is the perfect time to do it. If you have any questions about this contest, or about how to submit an article, post it here and we'll make sure everybody gets the information! Come on, we're penturners! Use one of those pens to write an article! You'll enjoy it, and you might just win!

I'd like to submit my "We Don't Need no Stinkin' Pen Mills!" article - which is at:
http://woodenwritingwonders.com/Documents/No%20Stinking%20Pen%20Mills.pdf

Please email me at withyourgrain@comcast.net if the link doesn't work.

Julia! That is a great article! That's the first time I had seen it. I love it! But, ahhh, it's not on our site!!! Maybe you can correct that by submitting it to Jeff, but we can't go grabbing other people's articles willy-nilly! [8D] So get it submitted!

Robert - The nature of an "Article" would indicate that you are conveying some kind of factual information. So one that is completely "tongue-in-cheek" is maybe not right on target. But then a day without laughter is like - like - boring! [:p] So submit whatever article you want to, the winners will be chosen by vote of the membership, not selected by some book critic!

Get these articles going, people! I want to see you WIN!

Scott.

Hi Roger,

There are some other articles than penturning, so I would say that as long as it's close it should be OK. It would be something that penturners would find interesting, I guess.

Good Luck!

Scott.
