I was hoping to cast some blanks today, so my wife, doing me a favor, grabbed me some testors paint for tinting..
This is my fault, I didn't specify acrylic or enamel..
She grabbed the Testors Acrylic...

But reading through some posts this morning, am I reading that she should have grabbed enamel instead?

Am I backwards?

I'm using PR and I've used both acrylic and enamel before. The cure time and set up time seemed to take longer with these but that could be from a 100 different reasons. From the few times I've done this the acrylic testers blank I did came out looking kinda like corian, whereas the enamel blank I made came out really cool with colors floating above one another. Hope this helps, and if all else try a small batch and see what happens. I'll post a pic of each blank so you can see what I mean. the purple&blue is the acrylic and the blue/yellow/red is the enamel.

Yup, I saw your thread on it..
Actually, that's the thread that made me question it even more!
