Areng wood??

Anyone know where I can find this stuff? I need a distributor but cant seem to find one.....bummer. It's alot like Ebony and turns nice. I was going to use it in place of ebony as I'm trying to use less and less ebony. I need it for pens AND plugs. Thanks for any helpful info or points in the right direction

The only Areng Wood I can find is a Palm which doesn't sound like what you're looking for. Do you have any pics of the wood, and maybe the scientific name?

Nope, thats the stuff! It's an indonesian palm wood thats fairly dense as well.
