Dario, my brother lives in the Houston area and has a barn he could store these in. He has been looking for a good lathe and we should be able to get both running (if we win them). Thanks for the heads up!

If you look around on that site...they have other tools too (as well as lathes). Sometimes really nice motors, bandsaw, drill press, table saws, planer, joiner, sanders, etc. Most are from school districts that are stopping their shop program (I heard too risky for lawsuit which is sad). Most are old but built like tanks.

They used to sell some stuff for only $5.00...now they tend to go higher as more people learn about these. I saw a few (3) a/c vacuum pumps a few months ago and planned on bidding on them but forgot [B)]...sold for around $50-$70 each.

You have to open an account which requires a creditcard and a $100.00 deposit. Do it early, they take a while (a day or so) to activate accounts.
