There seems to be a lot of different Pearl Ex pigments and I was wondering if any of you have recipes on how you are mixing your colors. I see there are Interference pigments, micro pearl, reflex Violet, different Antiques. For example, do you mix Reflex Violet with Interference Violet. Or do you mix them on their own. What about the Macropearl and Micropearl, do you mix these in with other colors. I know, experiment, but I thought I would ask first ;)

You answered your own question...Experiment.

Seriously, there is no right or wrong answer. You can mix colors to your heart's content and still wonder what can't be done. I use both Pearl Ex and mica pigments for my castings and while I love Pearl Ex I find mica can deliver equivalent results for far less money.

IIRC, there are some in my resin color library (and a pile more I need to add), but it's currently broken. When I get it back up I'll post a note.

I will only add that you should find and download the Materials safety data sheet for the pigments and other chemicals used. As a lot of the materials used in the making of Costal Scents pigments are manufactured from mylar or polysheet cut down to pixel sized squares.
Most material starts life as a BASF material which the coloring agents are added to.
Some sellers of the material like to play fast and loose with the materiel descriptions. Forgetting the material is mostly a man made material with natural or organic coloring agents.
As the description of the pearl ex on that page pretty much follows the MSDS info therefore the higher price.
