So my wife and I decided to take off for the weekend and drive up to Chattanooga. Since I'm sure there are some folks who live there or have been through there, I was wondering if there was anything I should make sure to do while we are there. Anything off the beaten path that is a interesting must see? Any places that are don't miss places to eat.

Thanks
Ben

Make sure you take the back roads and go up along the river. Prob'ly too cold to watch folks rafting down the river but it's a great ride all the same.

Chattanooga is a great city, lots to do and see. Very historic, Civil war battle fields everywhere. Lookout Mountain is great also the incline up the mountain is awsome.

We've done the aquarium so will probably bypass that. I'll look into the other stuff. My wife wants to "See Rock City" so we'll do that I'm sure. Half the trip is to take the Mini Cooper out and about so we will probably wind our way around north GA, North AL and into TN.

Thanks
Ben

If you like cast iron, go by the Lodge Outlet in S Pittsburg. Go west on 24 about 10 or 15 miles--it's well before Monteagle. Head for S Pittsburg, about 2 miles, go through downtown and it's a little bitty nondescript place on your left, just past the historic area. I got a skillet tonight for 15.

We went to the Bodies exhibit in Atlanta today--not quite in the same area, but close. It was great!
