I may need to order a prescription of natural desiccated thyroid from Canada. The two manufacturers in the US cannot supply the demand. I can't find it anywhere around here in Central IL. There is a manufacturer in Canada that still has supply. I have no confidence in finding a good internet supplier without some references or help. Anyone?

My in-laws have been ordering their medication from Canada in order to save money. The quality and service have been spot on and I highly reccomend it.

I have used canadapharmacy.com many times. Very reputable and quick service. Here is a link to them, this link is for Armour' "Thyroid", but you could look for others..

I have used Canada due to the high cost of Lipitor and their protected status which doesn't allow generics to compete. And then there is Diovan and Plavix and Coumadin. I use Jandrugs.com. They broker the request through New Zealand. When I got worried they communicated with me right away to let me know where the order was. My advice is to:
1. Order well in advance
2. Keep track of the "tracking" numbers and phone numbers if the order does not come on time.

Now that we are on the subject. I ordered Plavix through Jandrugs.com. The boxes that the pills came in were from the drug manufacturer. Why in HECK DO THEY PUT TWENTY-EIGHT (28) pills in a box??? I ordered 90 days supply and got EIGHTY-FOUR pills. In my eyes, they cheated me. Who the HECK HAS A TWENTY-EIGHT DAY MONTH???? WTF

Thanks for the help, and thanks for the link Brian. I have been on a custom compounded synthetic for about a week, and so far I'm not too impressed. I have to contact my MD by email with the link and info to see what she thinks. I have to get the prescription to deal with the Canadian pharmacies anyway. It's interesting to see that some of the doseages are out of stock on that Canadian pharmacy too.
