Anyone local to 757 - Hampton Roads want to meet up

I live in Portsmouth and would love to connect with some local wood turners- specifically pen related is great as that is the bulk of what I make. It would be nice to have some local connections to share ideas, wood and help each other out with those emergency jobs that we fall short on a tube or hardware kit.

Let me know if there are enough folks local to try to revive the Hampton Roads Virginia group meet up.

We have a group that meets at Woodcraft in RIC that is part of the Turners Club, but separate, and has all kinds of good folks who turn marvelous pens. Third Thursdays . Web site is informative as well; Richmond Wood Turners.
