NO-No-no!!! Its a rare form of concrete floor from the deep limestone mines of western Maryland.

Kinda hard to tell with those pieces of wood in the way. Wonder what kind of wood that is? Nice box fan by the way. Wonder what kind it is?

It's a wooden box fan painted white. Can't you tell, they sell them at Lowes and HD in the lumber section. (some assembly required).

I'm with Billy ...the bark looks a lot like some of the walnut trees growing in lovely Alabama....unless, let me check my truck I was moving furniture yesterday :D
Ron, I'm not far from you, just through the woods in Adamsville. Nice to see another pen turner in the area!

Yeah my first thought was walnut but it does'nt smell like it when cut. That is kinda neat that you are so close Mick.Maybe we could meet up one day and talk some shop.Ronald.

Lovely Alabama???? Guess I never drove through there!! [}:)];)

It may be a piece of Laynondaroad.. I have a couple of pieces of that, along with some Floatnondariver my wife salvaged for me.

Seriously :D it does look a little like the walnut my Ex-SIL gave me a few years back that was cut in north Georgia..

The white on the bark makes me think of the pine trees that we have around here. The other one looks like a fan of some sort. Around here people just throw out fast food wrappers on my lawn.:D
