Hi Ken,
I am in Sterling. There are a few of us around!

About six of us got together about 3 years ago and grabbed lunch near the Springfield Woodcraft.

Okay, we've got 4 of us...when and where do we get together?
Someone said the Irish restaurant near Woodcraft (Springfield)has closed. Any recommendations?

Anyone else?

With the holidays coming up, I expect folks will tend to be pretty busy the rest of this month -- I know I am! And for my part, I'll probably be traveling in January, but the schedule for that isn't set yet. So I couldn't commit to anything until Februaryish.

Hi Kevin!
Hey Mathew & Michael, it has been a while.

If anyone wants to do lunch here soon we can and also plan on the spring.

After all....Ya Gotta Eat!

I might be able to drag one or two IAP guys from my area.

I'm in Southern Maryland, just outside the Beltway on Rt. 5.
Well, not ON Rt. 5, but you get the idea.

Hi Herb!
Maybe we can get some folks together again for a lunch or dinner soon!

Have you come to CAW in Alexndria?....Capital Area Woodturners.
We meet monthly a little ways down on Rt.1.

I was a member of CAW for 3 years. It was sad when they lost their space in that school for the learning workshop sessions. Sadly I can't afford $20 for the workshop sessions at that guy's house.

I am new to the IAP, and in the general area of you all. Just wanted to say hi. I see a lot of people seem pleased with the Woodcraft in Springfield. Any reason that one instead of the one in Rockville? I have used the Rockville one but just to get a few supplies. I don't get a lot from them as they seem a little more expensive than some other places you can get some supplies.

I don't go to Rockville, since Springfield is much closer.

Woodcraft is not my first shopping stop, but when they have a sale it's a good consideration. I mostly go there to see the guys and demos.
