Stabilization Anybody seen this blank before ??

Not even something close to it. It looks like something made by a rod or pool cue builder. There's this theme which you are probably aware of.

That isn't a commercially available blank. I made it for the 2014 Tube-On Casting Contest. I glued the sailcloth to the tube; tied the turk's head knot around it; and did a CA glue buildup.

I can understand why you are not interested. Beautiful blank, but it must have been something of a nightmare.
