Geess... I hope he has sea water and crabs to fish where ever he goes now...!

He certainly lived a very exciting and extremely dangerous life, peace on his soul...!:frown:

I watched those series every time I could them, through You Tube, I would watch some again every time I felt my live was a little rough at times, confronted with such real extremes showed in the series and how those guys did/do trust and rely on each other, survive each trip, is and achievement by itself, going back again and again, certainly illustrates how good of a life I have...!:)

He was a "character", and he will be missed...!

Cheers
George

Love the show. Its too bad but we could tell he wasn't doing all that great on the last season he was on. They lead really unhealthy lifestyles being on the water. Smoking staying awake hard work etc.

I'm a big fan too, and was pretty saddened by the news. He was one of my favorites. I remember the blood clot he had last season (I think it was), and I thought he was a pretty tough guy getting through that. I wonder if that's what caused the stroke.

Yeah Captain Phil was one of my favorites but you knew early on that he wasn't long for this world. He was like a big spring all coiled up to the max all the time. This comes as no surprise. I hope the boys are up to the task of running the business. I sure will miss him.

RIP Captain Phil!
