wondering if anyone here is into veneers and veneering. I need a piece of veneer and if it was installed onto an appropriate size piece of plywood, that would be a bonus time saver and stress reliever.
What do you need?? I have some veneered scraps of plywood, i also have some different raw veneers that may be what you want. Give me some more info. maybe I can help. Victor
Well, I'm looking for something more like an ash burl installed on 24x36 1/2"thick plywood. Ash is a bit lighter and golder in color which is what I need.
I've got a really nice piece (IMHO) of book matched ash burl veneer, 24" X36". It's paper backed and been stored rolled up in a large shipping tube, so I'll get it out and weight it down to let it "relax" enough that I can get a decent pic taken for you to see... right now, most of my veneering tools are packed away in storage- I've not done any veneer work in about 5 years now, so won't be able to afix it to a plywood substrate for you.
Sorry, [V]turns out it's 24" X 32"- let me know if the smaller 32" might work for you, and if so I'll get some pics taken. FYI, the book matching is along the 24" dimension, so matching pieces 12" by 32".
