Edit: Pen blanks are spoken for (dntrost).
However if anyone would like to come by and watch me make a closed-end fountain pen, and maybe make one of your own, please respond here. I have not set a day yet so I'm flexible. I have several closed-end pens ordered coming due in a month or so and would love to have the company at the lathe.
I have a decent stash of pen blanks that I am pretty sure I will not ever be able to use, of some interesting woods. My customers just have such crazy high end taste that they won't buy anything but a burl, Tru-stone, or the like. So I have some extra stuff I won't be using and it's just taking up room.
I thought about selling them here, but quite honestly I think I would rather give them to someone who is new so that they can save a bit of cash and still have some nice wood for turning.
It's some random stuff like a few bloodwood, redheart, and other things.
If you are interested, I have at the LEAST a flat-rate box full you can have.
Plus, if you would like to meet me when I make my next two closed-end fountain pens, you would be more than welcome to come by and see. Maybe make one of your own if you can bring a kit.
First person to reply here gets it
Thanks!
Matt
