I have some pink corian, and blue corian that is 3/4" thick and the blanks would be at least 5.5", most likely 5.75" long.

I need to cut it up and wanted to get an idea of whether I should cut it all now or not.

I can also cut into slabs if preferred. I'll post the actual offer in the classified section once they are cut, with photos.

They'd be $1.50 per blank.

Hey, save a dozen pink ones for me and I'll hand you the bills when I get that pecan from ya. They'll go great for next years fundraiser pens.

Well, seeing how my wife and I just back from her 2nd ultrasound, and there was no signs of a sausage, I would be in for 10 or so of the pink ones. A slab would be fine as I can cut the blanks. She is our first.

I don't see much 3/4" corian any more....

Congratulations! I very sincerely consider my daughter's birth (also our first) to be the highlight of my life. There's nothing like it.

Thank you very much. I need to start planning what kinds of pens I should make. Oh yeah, after the cradle I am building! Turning spindles is good practice, and much easier to finish....

OK guys, GREAT.

I'll see about cutting some and getting pics loaded up early this week.

I'll let everyone in this thread know about it when they are cut so you can "officially" put the order in.

I need to apologize to several people in this thread. I should have been more clear than I was about the fact that this thread was only a "litmus test" and that actual orders would be placed in the classified section. I should have also PM'ed folks when the post was made, but instead I posted the link in this thread at the top to forward everyone to it.

The pink blanks sold out quickly. I have some casting resin I can try to cast some interesting pinks with, but it will take me a couple of weeks since grad school finals are hitting very soon.

Again, my apologies for the blunder to everyone I confused:redface:
