So... we're not really set up to host folks, but the shop is air conditioned, we have at least 3-4 stools in there, and we even have a bathroom. So... if there are any folks in the Raleigh, Apex, Holly Springs, etc area that are interested let me know. Besides the blatant and totally obvious attempt at getting you fine folks over to empty your wallets... it seems crazy no one ever posts for this area because I KNOW we have quite a few turners around. :) We're located on the Harnett side of Fuquay so it's about 45 minutes from Raleigh.

No real date or anything planned but if there are 3-4 folks that are interested we can figure it out. Maybe have a fun activity like "Help Tim clean up all the boxes so he can host people" šŸ˜‚

Know that area well. NC and SC were my sales territories from 1971-1974. Went back in the late 80s. Wish I had bought 100 acres on North US 1.

Haha yes... that wouldn't have been a bad investment at all... Heck out here in the sticks it's gotten insane. My plan is that when we finally lose the Dollar General i need to move further out.

BTW, I miss the fresh seafood in the Carolinas. Wife and I made it a point to visit Calabash, NC whenever in the general area. Knew a couple in Whiteville who drove with another couple to Calabash every Saturday afternoon.

George Carlin to Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show in the 1970's...."You know Johnnie, if i'd bought 20 acres at the corner of Hollywood and Vine a hundred years ago, I'd be dead today." Some of the areas i passed up 50 years ago would have been great investments, and i'd not have ever thought that!

For some reason I was able to find great opportunities back when I couldn't afford them. Now that I can afford them I can't seem to find any.
