Youse guys is a bleedin' lot of help. I don't ask for much and it always winds up with asapargus, phallises, walking-stick Cabbage, 100 yr. old mushrooms or some other BS.

You won't send me cards and you won't ID my wood and you probably privately laff at my pens. This is kinda like a real family!

Of course we're family. Why else would you put up with us?

How true.

ROFLMAO!!!

Honestly, where are you finding all these weird woods?

If you make the actual photo a bit bigger than the thumbnail...it might help us a bit too.:wink::biggrin:

I could be more help if you wouldn't post those postage stamp size pictures...:tongue: the thumbnail in your post is bigger than I could get the picture to open to, and since I'm probably approaching an age where I should wear bifocals or even binoculars, but vanity won't allow it...:biggrin::biggrin:

The picture was as big as the one sent to me. If I had taken it , it would have been much bigger and blurry. You can always tell my photos. This is a walking stick being sold on Ebay-UK. Seller doesn't know what it is either. I can't bid on it as shipping a stick from the UK would cost more in shipping than in stick. If it was something rare and unique I might take a shot. Could it be Irish Blackthorn like the old Shillelaghs. Don't we have some Micks among us who might know?
