Hey everyone, I haven't been very active on the site lately, partly because I've been stressed about my situation. I won't go into the details, but my fiance and I have to move out of the place we're in now, and from the looks of it we'll have to spend atleast the rest of this month at our parents, mine on the east coast of FL, and hers on the west coast of FL. I know I haven't been as around as long as some of you all, but I just wanted to let everyone know just in case they were wondering what happened to me. I maybe back online next week after I get settled in at my parents, but will begin the job hunt then as well, but I should have some time to check in every now and then.

Unfortunately as a result of all this, I'm going to have to put my tools in storage as my parents garage is full, and I don't feel like trying to setup everything outside, that and I don't need an excuse to not get out and find a job. :)

I sort of feel bad saying, or even thinking this, but one thing that makes me feel a LITTLE bit better about what I'm going through is that I'm not the only one, and some people have it even worse. I'm just lucky and blessed that I have parents that'll take me in again even if it'll mean a little more hardship on them for a while. Obviously I'll help out as much as I can and won't complain about chores like I was when I was a kid. Anyway, I think it's time for breakfast, then organizing/packing up the rest of my tools.

Hang in there, it is just a rough patch, the whole road is not like this. Good luck, and if you are in the IT market, let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Been there not so long ago...and still struggling. It will get better eventually so hang in there.

IAP friends helped me a lot (in more ways than one) and I am sure you are getting more prayers now than you know.

Good luck!!!

Sam, been there done that, but I didn't have my parents to go back to. Count your blessings! Search the web, don't forget the government job listings and keep at it. You'll be employed in no time. Good Luck!

Just letting everyone know I'm back online now. The move went ok, we were able to get a uhaul truck and a storage unit to store all the stuff we couldnt fit between my fiances parents and my parents. Unfortunatly for now my lathe is in storage, and I don't really have anywhere to set it up at the moment. Maybe as I see the pens some of you make it'll motivate me to try and find good job and save up some money to get a nice house with an area to setup shop. :) Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes!

Sam,

Good to see you back online. I'm reminded of a saying my late mother used to say: "Bloom where you are planted." I've tried to live by that idea, and firmly believe that a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) goes a long way toward improving your outlook on life. Hang in there, it will get better.

Glad that the move went well. A philosophy I ascribe to is "if you do the foot work" what you need will come to you. Couple that with "Cav's" PMA and things will work out well.

Sam, Glad you are moved and good luck. The good news is that what goes down will come back up, it always does. So good times are a commin. The bad news is that I in no way think we have seen the worst. I have heard things that tell me not to expect better times until the middle of next year at best. Don't let that get you down though because that sort of stuff is less accurate than the weather reports. Do not be to hard on yourself, hard times are well hard.

Glad to see you back

Sam,

Glad the move went well! I know how you feel, I have not turned in almost one year due to a move and injury. You have your health, fiance, and family that supports you! You will do well.
