Another unconventional material idea

Hello there!

Recently, my grandma went to retirement house,and when sortin out her old clothes, I have noticed some of them having large,pearl buttons ( fake - Im 100% sure its plexiglass ) and I immediately got an idea to sand them flat and use them as a part of lamination. I made a ring, but Im gonna incorporate them into pen blanks soon,too.

Very nice. I've cast a few buttons in pen blanks and learned that some have metal inserts. Not fun for the tools. I didn't look them over well enough.
