I don't know what happens to me, but it seems every time I get ready to make a casting, I get all anxious, multi-thumbed and generally a dumb-xxx.

Last night, I decided to make a small (2.5 oz) Alumilite Crystal Clear casting. Easy enough...

It seems I had "almost empty" alumilite squirt bottles, and brand new gallon jugs...great, I think I'll pump some from the gallon jugs into the easier to handle squirt bottles.....

You guessed it... 5 pumps of A into the B bottle, and 5 pumps of B into the A bottle....

No empty molds (except for the 2.5 oz one), and I cant be sure the mixture is good enough to harden (both squeeze bottles had different starting amounts). No big jug to mix it all up in.... So now I have 2 plastic cup sized Alumilite crystal clear castings....(thed did harden ok...)

Kinda funny in retrospect...

AHAHAHAHA!!! That struck my funny bone! You could keep the cups as a gag kind of thing. Would be kind of amusing to pretend to spill a cup of water on someone at a party or pretend to knock it off the counter. Is that too immature? Probably. With me you never know.

You just need to find a way to market this. If they hardened OK, they should
be turnable, right?

Stranger things have been seen on store shelves..

That is hilarious! Its always good to be able to laugh at yourself!
I'm glad I've never done anything like that:rolleyes:....today!

I am not laughing (honest) as I am waiting on my mold from Charlie, boy do I hate starting at the bottom of a massive learning curve!

Mark, I'm TRYING! It's in the box, I'm banging on the door of the Post Office,
but they won't let me in. I TOLD them the package was for you, but I
guess some of them don't read the IAP, as it didn't faze them.

They said to wait until they open at 9AM ..
