Another segmented bowl

This was kind of a challenge turning end grain for the top, made from jatoba,purple heart,carnay,&maple, finished with blo & sprayed lacquer. I just hope it all stays together and doesn't split apart over time.

Awesome work. Reminds me of the first one I did, without the lid. Quilters call it a tumbling block pattern.
