How do you stop the coffee beans from floating to the top? I just made up my first batch of white alumilite and coffee beans, and while mixing it all the beans came to the top! Then, when I poured it in the mold, they all stayed on top.

I weighed out 4 oz of Part A, 4 oz of Part B, put the beans in Part A, then thoroughly mixed in Part B. Floaters!!

What did I do wrong? Thanks!

You need something to hold them down.

Depending on my mold size, I usually use either a chunk of wood wrapped in saran wrap taped to the top of my mold or a chunk of plexiglass.

Anything will do that keeps them from floating.
