The man from the Pacific, who plays piano and is known as KALAI has just hit 500 HUNDRED POSTS - CONGRATULATIONS. Sorry I was late in congratulating. I was concentrating on the log splitter that was up to its axle in wood chips,

Hi John, thanks for the congratulations on the 500 posts, I still go a way to go before I catch up with you.
Piano playing??? well I guess you can say I play the piano, not very many people have heard me play but those that did liked it :)
I am self taught and have been playing for about 6 years, I play by ear and I do not know what chords I play, I started by playing George Winston songs (by ear) and then started creating my own, it is just as much fun as turning pens or milling Koa or working with wood in other ways.
John, if you ever come to the Big Island of Hawaii I will let you play with my woodmizer bandsaw mill and you can bury the tire in wood dust :) Aloha.

John,

I gotta ask: How do you know this all the time? How do you monitor everyone's post count?

Three ways. One way is you and other friends who let me know when an event is about to happen. It is fun to announce the hundred marks until a thousand and then each thousand thereafter. I might add that this is not done with the blessing of the monitors or owners. Just on my own to help spur activity and get more information passed back and forth. Take this site and compare it to the Hummer site that I just joined. It is as obvious as black and white. This site is active, communicative, polite, aware and just down right fun. The owners and monitors should be proud of what they have created. Thanks for asking. John
