Today is the one-year anniversary of my first pen turning experience. In this year, I've had lots of fun, made a bunch of new friends, learned more than I'd dreamed could exist to know about pen crafting, bought a bunch of new tools I never knew I needed, bought a bunch of different types of wood I always knew I needed but couldn't justify for flat work, and I even sold some pens.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this site sharing your knowledge and talent, wit and humor, how-to and what ifs, and making the IAP a great place to hang out on-line.

Gary, you definitely have learned and progressed over the past year and you are certainly to be congratulated for that. Now, if we can just break you of that Florida thing...... [;)]
 
Congrads Gary,Cav what Florida thing? Gary you keep pushing my Gators,that Tebow is something else.. But alas I'll have to pull for LSU on Jan. 7th lets keep the trophy in the SEC, I guess if Fla. ever played Oklahoma I'll be in deep do-do here.
