I have the sites bookmarked, have ordered Flat tops from them before and went to their site and looked. Oh... and I have ESPN too! :biggrin:
 
If you get the Rockler ones they take a B mandrel if you use one. I found out after I got home another trip. The kits are nice but the instructions suck imho.

Ouch. "B" mandrel ???? I guess I'd better check that out. Thanks for the tip.
 
They do have an adapter mandrel at rockler you can use with the b mandrel actually it is very solid compared to the 7mm mandrel.

I found out the hard way too. I was at Rockler and my ex was with me and wanted a pen for her little side business. I told her to pick out whatever pen she wanted. She picked the American Flat Top. I grabbed one and a set of bushing and was out the door. It wasn't until later I realized it need a B mandrel. Then on top of that the bushings I got aren't the right bushings. I have no idea what they go to but it isn't the Flat Top. I think I will end up turning this pen between centers.
