Always carry a pen

My wife had a Dr's appointment last Friday, and the Dr has taken a special interest in her and her problems, so on a previous trip I told him I was going to start pen turning and I would give him a pen for my wifes extra special care. Gave him his pen, just happened to have my case with me and he bought two besides the one I gave him. Another Dr came out and low and behold he bought 2. Third Dr came out and she bought one and ordered two more. One of the nurse's saw what was going on and she bought 2. Thought it would never end, but it finally did. She had to go back for x-rays today and after we stopped at a Cracker Barrell to eat and wouldn't you know it, stated talking with manager and he asked to see the pen I was carrying. He loved it and wound up buying it. Now have to make or find another one that I really like. Moral, never go anywhere without a pen you will part with. This is the 3rd pen I have carried and sold. You guys said this would happen and it has. Thanks for the great advice!!!!

Nice promotion! I ALWAYS forget to bring my pens, it's like a weakness of mine. I don't wear a watch, I never wear jewelry, and everything I take with me is always in my jeans pockets. That's why I always forget my pens, I guess!

Congratulations on your sales John, sounds like you are going to be busy in a good way. That is good advice about always carrying a pen for showing your wares, my father carries two or three that he has made any time he goes somewhere and has a natural knack about selling one or two himself. Keep up the good work and tell your wife hello from me and my wife and hope everything goes okay with her check ups. We will see you both at the fall SW Missouri Penturners Meeting. IMHO, if you want to sell pens, always carry one of your best. Your work is your best salesman. I have a full sized Gent that gets great attention whenever I take it out of my pocket. It is, by far, my best salesman.
