alumilite ?

I have been away from penturning for a little while, was deployed, and now that I am back I am seeing a lot of people are using alumilite. I am just wodering what it is and is it better than using PR? The blanks I have seen are very clear and i like that. Is there any extra equipment required. Thanks for your answer in advance.

Paul, think of the World Series. Some are rabid Phils fans some are rabid Yankees fans.

The alumilite/PR debate is much the same!
