Alumilite to Canada

Just curious if any of my fellow Canadians have had Alumilite shipped to them in Canada. Since they only ship UPS were there brokerage fees etc. tacked on to what you already paid for the product?

They don't ship to Canada the last time i checked with them. You can get the water clear in 16 or 32 oz from there:

And the crystal clear from them but only in 2 gal format at over $200.

They both carry the other format and color. I dealed with modeler's choice in the past and they are ok.

They don't seem to carry the crystal clear (now just clear apparently) that Curtis recommends now.

It is the discount that has prompted this query. Since they only ship by UPS that usually means brokerage fees etc which really adds to the cost. That's why I thought I'd check out others' experiences.

Correction about shipping, i was mistaking with simlar. They do ship to Canada but like said before, ups brookage and taxes put the price too high. Better order from Canadian distributors.

When I was using it, I bought it locally in Ottawa. If you need info, I can get it for you. It sounds like you have closer options, though.

The problem is to get the clear (formely crystal clear). I only found the 2 gal. format. If anyone know where to get smaller size, i'll appraciate it.

I know, Lin, but since people were giving Canadian sources for Alumlite, I thought I'd mention that the company itself is offering a discount...

Figured it might offset the extra cost of shipping
