I know this questions has been asked and answered before but I can't find it for the life of me. I searched but must not be finding the right keywords because I haven't been able to get it to come up.

What smaller containers are people using to split the gallon containers of Alumilite into smaller easier to handle portions while casting?

I have the 32 ounce containers for the smaller package but didn't want to put any new Alumilite in the old container since it has a shelf life.

Are there any storage concerns with Alumilite as with PR? I don't know if Alumilite will eat through plastics like PR will.

Alumilite is not corrosive. I use 1/2 gallon rubbermaid containers..they have a strap on top that holds a little round thingy that pops on to the container to close it. Just like a container you would make juice in. You can unscrew the entire top to refill the container. Be sure and label the containers A and B !

Thanks Jeff! I thought it was you that posted last time about storage.

I will have to look at Wal-Mart for some solutions....

Fred, I use these two sizes. These containers seal airtight and are better to store than the round containers these folks sell (save space). The only downside is you have to order by the case but they are pretty cheap.

You can order the dispensing pumps but they clogg up after a while and also allow humidity to get in the container so I do not use them.
