Thank you for this group ! I have just gotten into pen turning . A friend of mine at work had shown me the fine pens and pepper grinders that he had made . He gave me an old PSI catalog . His dad had turned pens for along time. So now I have a harbor f. 8 x 12 lathe . I have turned out 5 slim lines , 1 wine stopper, 1 stylus, and 2 handles for the coffee scoops. This is my 1st efforts using a wood lathe . And all of the above items have been given out as gifts this Christmas . Getting into this new activity came at a perfectt time . Timing is everything ! The library has 6 books about pen turning and of course so much Intel on YouTube. So now finding this group is Great ! Have happy and prosperous New Year !

Aloha Uk...I cannot tell, but have you possibly lost your way outside of Hawaii? Go west until you hit ocean, then start swimming!
