I've been making pens for a while. About 10(?) years or so. Kids moved out, I am "semi retired". I've been getting up on Christmas Day for the past 5+ years and turning a new pen. Is this an addiction or what?! A nice box of components rolled in Tuesday and after putting my goodies away I set aside my new "Steampunk" component set to make up this morning.

I don't think this addiction is too bad...well maybe!

I've got two pens cut, drilled, tubed and trimmed. Ready to turn ( Faith, Hope and Love and a Dragon) I plan to turn them today, scroll a couple of pieces and "tidy up" my workshop. So you are not alone.

Randy, I would say, you are totally consumed. Beyond addiction. Makes one wonder, what is going through your mind? That is awesome. Thanks for sharing and, don't stop.

Addiction... Hobby... Avocation... Tradition... All applies, but you are DOOMED !

However, have fun and try to enjoy! There are worse "addictions" to struggle through.

Best Regards, Mark
