Another cross-cut hairy oak on a Dayacom Jr. Statesman. This kit was from an older pen which I was unhappy with. Pulled it apart successfully, although noticed a few scuff marks on the plating. Still, looks ok!

That's a pretty cool looking pen !!!!

Looks like a Tiger ...... should, perhaps, be called "Tiger Oak" ...... or is that a different species ?

Thanks mate, it's named after it's unique hairy looking bark. Very pretty stuff whichever angle it's cut!
