I've posted these before on the Other Things You Make forum. I make and sell a lot of these. This one is a little bit special because of the woods involved - the cap is teak and the bottom of the box is lignum vitae. I had to wet sand the bottom because the lignum vitae clogged up the sandpaper. The top is textured with a Wagner tool. The threads are cut with an EZ-Jig from Chefwarekits.com. For finish, this only has the oil/beeswax product that I used to wet sand the bottom which I also applied to the top after texturing.

Very nice, I seen a demo at a symposium in Helen, GA where Willard Baxter turned these and threaded them on a threader he designed. He even made them small enough to make ladies ear rings.
