After reading and thinking and procrastinating, I'm ready to do some new things this weekend. I'm going to start by making a simple slimline with some old cherry wood and finishing it with CA. This will be my first CA finish. Next, I'm going to attempt an antler pen. I have some decent pieces of antler (donated by my brother), so we'll see how it turns out (pun intended). Last, but not least, I'm going to practice some very basic segmentation by gluing up some of my scraps and just trying out the process.

hey, if you're looking for some moral support/help check out the lone star woodturners club meeting tomorrow morning at woodcraft north (1960 and 45). I hope to be there along with some others that will help out. If you can't make that pm me and maybe we can get together sometime for a little turning. I've got a couple of lathes here at my shop.

James
