Hi there, here is a another newbie penturner from the UK, recently been made redundant so I have more time to spend in my workshop 
I class myself as a newbie as the last time I used a lathe was back in school 25 years ago now, got myself a lathe and turned a few bowls and vase's and about 30pens over the last few weeks, mainly slimline models but recently bought a sierra pen kit to try and have now been asked to turn a fountain pen, so that should be fun lol, I'm looking forward to picking up a few tips and tricks from this forum and try to improve my skills as a penturner. I have seen some fantastic examples of the pen turners art on this website and if I can be half as good as some of these guy's I'll be a very happy chappie indeed.
