In alot of big towns, there is a company called Lumber Liquidators. They sell flooring. Alot of their flooring is hardwood. They always have open boxes, or single boxes left over from a pallet of material. If there is no Lumber Liquidator, try the smaller local flooring stores. I have gotten tons of blanks this way! Alot of it exotics.
