Silmar41 from US Composites (link) is typically what most folks use around here that use PR.

Alumilite from well, Alumilite (link) is another fine choice.

Those who are learning or playing around who don't want to spring for a lot of resin will opt for Castin' Craft from Michael's- but don't pay full price, wait for a coupon.

Doug pretty much nailed it. I highly recommend silmar 41 but here's a link to a place that sells castin craft a nice discount. http://www.dickblick.com/products/c...p=google&wmcid=products&wmckw=33520-1006-2061

I'll second (third? fourth?) the Silmar 41. The Castin Craft might be easier
to find locally, but I think that even with a coupon it comes out to about
the same price. The Silmar seems to be more forgiving, though.. and
nicer to turn.
