Last week I posted a message asking if anyone wanted to prep some casings for me that had been used in the 21 gun salute at my FIL's funeral (WWll) several years ago. I got several offers (thank you all) but CaptG (Gary Nicholls) was the first to answer. I sent my package out next day and added a couple goodies to show my appreciation for his offer. I got my casings back today plus a bunch of other goodies in the box. Along with my wonderfully transformed casings he also sent a beautiful chunk of wood and some spalted maple blanks from his back yard. I had ordered a couple Sierra carbon blanks and he threw in extras. He also added a cartridge pocket pen, which will become my new purse pen, and a Mrs. Fields white chocolate chunk cookie, (yummy gone). Gary went above and beyond and reinforces my belief that is the greatest bunch of people on the net. Many, many thanks!!!!! Keep a wary eye out matey, argh!!!!!

Becca,

I agree whole heartedly with you that this site has the best people on the web - and you're one of them.

They say 'what goes around, comes around' and I think that your generosity towards me just paid you back, in kind.

Becca, it was my pleasure to be able to help you. The extras are just my way of trying to brighten up the dark spot just a bit caused by the other person who kept your first batch of cartridges.

Thank you Nancy for the nice compliment. I like helping people or animals when I can.

Gary, you don't know exactly how much your kindness has meant to me. I will post pictures in the future after turning the pens. Thank you again!
