My 10 year old computer monitor has been doing some funny things for the past couple of weeks and I was a little worried.......and rightfully so. Last night it crapped out altogether.

It was a 20" Sony monster......so big I can barely get my arms around it and it must weigh 50 pounds. Well, I hooked up a little (13") spare that I had from an old computer and thought I was going to have a conniption!! When you go from a 20" monitor to a 13" unit, there are some adjustments.

Well, by lucky coincidence, the local computer store was having a big sale on flat screen monitors so I picked up a 22" model for a good price and it is up and running right now.

WOW!!! What a difference. I just can't believe how great the image is. I'm really pleased!!

We upgraded to a 21" about a year ago. I had been using an old tube style 17". Couldn't believe the diff. Night and day. And it's soooooooooo much cooler and takes up way less room on my desk. Best move I made in a while.

The best upgrade I ever made to my computor was to install a dual video card and two monitors. It is amazing how quickly and efficiently you can be on the computer with two monitors.

Keith: If 2 is good how much better would 3 be? But I wonder if you would have to grow a third hand to use the additional screen??

I once saw a video of 40 moniters hotboxed. They use it to play video games. It is useful when you play mmorpg's with more then one account. If you have no idea what I am talking, it's ok. I haven't met many gamers on here, lol.
