This is a fun way to accomplish a cow blank (sorry, not the b.s. kind).

Buy a bagful full of small balloons.
Get BIG plastic straws (like the kind McD's uses) and cut them into two inch pieces.
Stick one straw piece in the neck of a balloon (I did six straws & balloons at a time)
Be sure to wear gloves! and pour in black catalyzed PR.:giggle:

By leaving the neck to the balloon open air bubbles can get out. Pile 2 dozen or so into a mold and put it under pressure for normal amount of time for you.

Just clip the balloons and peel out the black uneven shapes.
After they're done you can put as many as you want to in a mold and pour white over them to fill in all over.

HAVE FUN!:bye:

Good idea. How would they be uneven shapes though? Wouldn't they all just be semi-round balls? Or are you distorting them somehow?

Russell.

By piling a couple of dozen in a square mold and open necks on the balloons they just kind of squish and moosh. I don't stack them in there evenly.

Ahh OK I see. I assume you are talking about the little water-bomb type balloons. Bet it's messy trying to get the resin in the straws.

Russell.
