never had a problem with deft sticking. I ment 12000mm sorry

I was just wondering if the oil in the cocobolo would interfere with the
lacquer, but you did CA first. Did that get sanded off? Or did you clean it
with alcohol or mineral spirits first? Just curious, I know lacquer can be
tricky depending on what it goes on..

I just lightly sanded final coat of ca and cleaned off with alchol than sprayed with deft. I'v uesd deft on cocobola before with out sealing and never had a problem. Mybe I'm just lucky so far

Good to know. I haven't done a lot of lacquer, but I know the surface
should be pretty clean so you don't get orange peel and other artifacts.
I'm sure the alcohol does the job .Good to know the oil doesn't cause a
problem. Thanks!
