I'm gonna be really sad when I run out of this Narra from Papua New Guinea. It is gorgeous!
Thanks - I have a few boards that a friend gave me, so if I dedicated them to pen blanks, it would yield hundreds probably. Those are very attractive pens -- the Cigar and Euro styles are among my favorite kits! I really like the knotty area on the lower blank of the Euro, it really gives the pen character. I have a few blanks of Narra that has a little bit of the Beeswing figure in it. - Dave
Thanks! It is a lovely wood and easy to work with. Has a nice spicy smell when cut/sanded. Here's a couple other things I've turned from this Narra. Both pens look very nice! Never turned Narra before. Looks like some very nice wood.
