Noticed you don't re-orientate the bolt handles so the bolt action works
like a real right handed bolt action rifle?

Very nice !!!
How did you get the bands on the brass nose piece for the top pen ?
Very nice pens and I really like working with Mesquite. But to be very honest, I'm not sold on the bolt action pens yet. I haven't turned any and I haven't had any requests for any yet. If you don't mind me asking, how many of these pen styles have you made and whats an average selling price? The last one I saw in person was selling for $25.00 which I thought was way too low especially considering the store took a 40% cut of the sale. But again, very nice job on your pens.

Les ... I've noticed you can do that from the instructions, but I keep it oriented like this since it seems to be easier to operate this way if you are right-handed. Honestly, I don't know if it matters that much. I suppose it would look more correct from a real rifle perspective.
Lots of good info on this thread. Right now I'm working on the PSI Fly Fishing kit as it makes sense where I live and right now our very little town is inundated with fly fisherman. Maybe I'll try a few Bolt Action for this upcoming hunting season and see how they do. Thanks everyone for your info. As a beginner this info is very helpful.
