Those are fantastic!!!!

What size blanks do you start with?

I'm confused (again ). You said that they are PR but I see "From the tree" in all your wonderful photos. So which is it, from the tree or Eugenio's 'kitchen'? Wonderful works of art once again.:)

Thank you

Padre- the original blank size is within a 1/16" on the width and a 1/4" on the height from the finsihd box size's- very little material is wasted

LOL, for you maybe  I suspect I'd end up with a thimble sized box before I got the shape right:redface:

These are very nice but I prefer your previous half wood / half resin ones ( particularly that amazing red one!!)

I love this exploration of resin in boxes you are doing lately, they are all great. To economize on resin, do the blanks start off with a a partially hollow center?

thank you

Eric: no they are solid- to have a hollow centre the caster would have to pre-guess the maker's box design- plus it would also limit the blank's possibilities as these can be used for many other things beside boxes

Now, if those aren't the prettiest little boxes I've seen for awhile, I will chew on an old lather boot, all night long...!!!:wink::biggrin:

A great way to use resin and bits and pieces, for sure...!

I get a little "uncomfortable" when I see fingers and thumbs near the turned pieces, not looking that much bigger...!:redface: I reckon I stick to bigger stuff...!:)

Cheers
George
