I had kind of a big day today in the shop today, at least for me. All these were completed, pretty much start to finish, plus I mailed 18 Sierra barrels off to the engraver, the last three of which I finished up this morning.

The first is the first feather blank I have completed, pheasant on a chrome Diplomat.

The second is nothing special, but is a custom order made from heirloom wood. It has a twin on the lathe that needed a little touch up on the finish before it was complete.

The third was an experiment in eliminating parts form the cigar kit. I got the top shorter that I intended, and the upper coupler is highly modified to accommodate the transmission, so I guess that will be a keeper for me. Oh well, I had run out of ink in my last pen anyway . The blank is called Majesty and was a freebie from Bear Tooth Woods.

The last was a better result in the cigar kit experimenting. Another freebie blank called Toxic Sludge, and chrome hardware.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms welcome.
