This morning I was trying to find an old post, and ran across the two threads about my knee replacement surgery. I am continually amazed at the depth of caring and concern that our IAP Family displays.
I am doing very well one month post-surgery. I can walk up stairs with no problem, and down stairs with the use of the occasional swear word. I get tired quickly, but regular PT is helping with that. BTW, whoever labeled PT as Patient Torture was dead on accurate!
As a procedure, I can recommend knee replacement to those who are suffering from arthritis or other severe knee problems. They sent me home two days after the surgery, and I was able to get around no problem with a cane.
Anyway, thanks again for all the well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate my IAP Family.
