7mm pen turning contest?

We have had a request to hold a 7mm pen turning contest. Let us know what you think about this idea at the next meeting on July 19. Would you participate? What should the winners get as a prize?

Sounds good to me. I'm assuming you need to be present to participate and it's a liitle far for me to drive. I would think the winner gets to keep the pen and give a lecture on how it was made during the next meeting. It really does sound fun to me and also a chance to pick up a few pointers from others at the same time.
