I'm a fan! I appreciate the jig for the drill press, I have several iterations - not easy to get tuned up and do the circular cuts/inlays/turning and keep the dimensions in place. Much more going on here than meets the eye. This is mighty impressive. Thanks for sharing. 👏 👏 👏 👏

I wish..... For all of you, good health, good woodturning, good year, good friends, good family, and much love in 2022, 2023, 2024....

WOW, That is pretty cool. Not sure how you did it. I will have to think on that a bit.

I used it making the blank, you don't show the lathe at each pen? So some hole saws on the drillpress and a lot of glue and veneer!
When I posted that question I didn't get the link between the making of the blank and the drill press-a bit of muddy brain, probably due to Covid which has passed through my house. I didn't test but have isolated with two family members who tested positive since before Christmas.

I meant no disrespect for asking about the drill press. At the time I just expected to see it (and I had also just seen someone turning a pen on a drill press)

The pen is very nice and shows a great variation on the use of that technique.
