Anyone use one for casting? Should be no difference to the 2.5 except for extra room right?

I think all the extra room is in height only. So if you cast with the pot on it's side, you can get twice the length out of it but no extra width.

Just watch which way the pot is pointed. If it blows, you'll have a projectile coming at ya'. :biggrin::biggrin:

The actual size/shape depends on the manufacturer. Some will give you a larger dia, i.e. some binks are not much taller than across the diameter.
There are also spce available pots, but they get to be rather expensive, beacuse they are usually "custom" orders.

I tried casting with my pot on it's side ... but the resin kept running out of my molds :biggrin::tongue:

That's the way I cast (on its side) . I have no problems, but I make sure its level
side to side and front to back. Maybe someone else has an easier way. This way
works for me.
